About Me Connect — What to Write
How your profile statements are used when generating LinkedIn connection messages
The AI compares your profile statements against a prospect's LinkedIn profile and recent posts to find genuine commonalities, then writes a short, personal connection message on your behalf. The quality of that message depends entirely on how well your statements reflect the real you — not a job description.
Write statements that sound like you talking
Be specific — name the actual industry, cause, or challenge you care about
Include hobbies, interests, and personal passions (not just work)
Mention where you grew up, went to school, or lived if relevant
Share what genuinely drives you professionally
Include past companies or career moves that shaped you
Avoid statements that are generic or salesy
Don't copy your LinkedIn headline or job description
Avoid vague phrases like "passionate about healthcare"
Don't list responsibilities — share experiences and perspectives
What makes a great connection message
Shared passion or mission Best — most memorable and human
Common hobby or personal interest Very strong — feels personal
Same past company or career path Good — creates instant credibility
Same college or university Decent — alumni bonds are real
Same city or region Weakest — only used as a last resort
Tip: The more specific and personal your statements, the more likely the AI will find a real, meaningful match with a prospect — and the more genuine the resulting message will feel to them.
Generate AI Suggestions
🤖 How it works: Searches the BDR's LinkedIn profile and posts (up to 100), scans the internet for their public bio, and researches the company via Brave news — then uses AI to suggest I Statements (personal) and We Statements (company highlights). All suggestions are labeled as System Generated and must be manually accepted.

We Statements (Company Highlights)
🏢 What are We Statements? These describe things your company is actively doing — partnerships, innovations, patient care milestones, awards, and expansions. Used alongside I Statements to personalize outreach with company context.
No We Statements yet. Use "Generate AI Suggestions" above or add one manually below.

These settings are saved to your profile and automatically loaded in the Generate Messages tool.
Pre-fills the form — you must still click "Save Smart Options" to keep the changes.

Describe the types of organizations you target (e.g., "Health systems with 200+ beds, ACOs, value-based care organizations, large physician groups")
Describe the titles/roles you target (e.g., "Chief Medical Officers, VPs of Clinical Analytics, Directors of Population Health, CIOs at health systems")
What problem does your company solve and what core value do you deliver to clients?
How do you approach outreach and sales? What makes your approach unique or compelling?
What company news would be great connection points? (e.g., "new tech partnerships, quality improvement initiatives, leadership hires, grant announcements, merger/acquisition activity")
Any other context or instructions that should guide how AI crafts outreach messages on your behalf
AI Instructions for About Me Messages
🤖 Guide the AI when building About Me Connect messages.
These instructions tell the AI exactly how to behave when generating personalized "About Me" connection messages in Generate Messages. The more specific you are, the better the output.
The AI reads your I Statements above, compares them to the prospect's LinkedIn profile and recent posts, finds personal commonalities, then writes a connection request using these instructions as its creative brief.
How should the message feel? (e.g., "Warm and collegial — like a fellow healthcare professional reaching out, never salesy or scripted")
Which types of personal connections should the AI lead with? (e.g., "Prioritize shared alma mater first, then industry passion; avoid leading with just geography")
How long and focused should messages be? (e.g., "Under 250 characters. One strong commonality only — do not list multiple connections at once")
What should the AI NEVER say? (e.g., "Never mention family, religion, or politics. Avoid the phrase 'reaching out to connect' — it sounds generic")
How should the message open and close? (e.g., "Lead with a genuine observation about their work. End with a light ask to connect — never ask to schedule a call in the opener")
Any other specific guidance for the AI when crafting About Me Connect messages (e.g., formatting rules, personas to channel, dos and don'ts)

Executive Assistant Outreach Message
🤝 What is this?
Fill in the details below and Review Replies will give you a one-click button that
builds this exact message — with the prospect's name, the default topic below (pre-filled,
but still editable per message), and a live list of open calendar times all inserted automatically:
"Hi [name]. I am [Assistant Name],
[BDR Name]'s executive assistant.
He/she asked me to reach out through
his/her LinkedIn account to help find a time
for you two to meet, if you are willing. He/she wanted
to talk to you about [topic]. Here are some times
he/she is available. Let me know if any of these work."
This pre-fills the topic in every EA Intro Message so nothing is left blank — you can still tweak it per message in Review Replies before sending.
